about this design.I have never done many “mash-up” shirts, but this idea seemed simple enough to work for me because it’s two ideas I can stand for: Firefly and the Peanuts. Both rock, both are awesome. So why not merge them in one design? I also feel both “gangs” have things in common – they argue, they make each other angry, they have adventures together and in the end they stick together. The execution of the design was easier than I thought, it works with my “cute” drawing style.

“Tell us a bit about this design.This was a collaborative effort between me (Dan) and my business partner David. I came up with the idea and did the original mock up, David did the final art. I’ve always been a huge fan of Parody. I’m also a fan of the concept of “Mash-Ups”, so this was the result. Really, this idea just popped right in there. If this were Ghostbusters, and I were confronted by Gozer, we’d have a giant Time Traveling Dodge Charger attacking our city.”
